About Us
Lorraine Silvia and Marina Mello founded Bermuda Internet Marketing in 2008 to address a growing need amongst Bermuda companies to provide their potential customers and clients with a good online experience.

The company has grown into a provider of sophisticated sales and marketing programs that can be utilized by companies in all sectors for a wide variety of applications. The unifying feature of all of their web sites is that they accomplish a specific business objective for the client. The main services offered include web design, search engine optimization, email marketing, search engine marketing, newsletter marketing and private client area development.

She has owned and operated a retail business winning “The Best of Bermuda Gold Award”, taught English and worked in business administration for several years. She has a B.A in English and has been a regular contributor to a weekly column in The Royal Gazette. Lorraine writes all of the search engine optimized content and copy for Bermuda Internet Marketing. She is an expert at knowing what keywords will attract people to websites and keep them there to convert. Lorraine also manages all accounts ensuring that clients receive excellent service from Bermuda Internet Marketing. Her objective is to ensure that clients have to do the minimum amount of work possible to achieve their online marketing goals This includes liaising with clients to manage and write content, as well as managing the time line, budget and all other aspects of administration.

Marina has worked as a journalist for 20 years in Bermuda, Britain and the United States. She uses her inside knowledge of the media profession and passion for smart business to achieve a tremendous level of print, internet, radio and TV coverage for all of her clients. Marina began her career at The Royal Gazette in Bermuda where she quickly rose through the ranks, from reporter to business editor. She has also been business editor for The Bermuda Sun; a correspondent for Bermuda Broadcasting’s ZBM & ZFB TV and Radio; a freelance writer of numerous articles for The Bermudian Magazine and RG Magazine; and senior publicist at Total Marketing & Communications where she handled accounts for ACT, HWP, and Wedco, including the writing of its annual report.Marina has worked for The London Times’ Business and Your Money Sections, the Atlanta Business Chronicle, covering the city’s hospitality industry, Bloomberg News. She completed Bloomberg University’s one-month financial writing course in Princeton, New Jersey, and then worked out of Bloomberg’s Atlanta Bureau. In 2002, Marina began working at CNN global headquarters in Atlanta as a writer and features producer for news shows across the network, including Your World Today, The Situation Room, CNN Newsroom and Business International.
Matthew Earle
Technical Web Designer and Programmer
matt@internetmarketing.bmMatthew began his online marketing career more than ten years ago in Huntington Beach, CA at Just4Clicks Ltd promoting web sites on search engines in some of the first profitable internet industries. He went on to work independently doing interface programming, database development and SEO for a number of clients in the music licensing and CRM industries. Matthew spent the past seven years planning out and building highly successful organic search, email, PPC and affiliate marketing programs for Kanetix Ltd., Capital One Credit Cards, Joe Fresh, McCormick’s Spices and LOM Securities (Bermuda) Ltd.
Though Matthew’s online marketing experience includes many years of managing and optimizing paid search campaigns, his has achieved many organic Google rankings that can still be seen in the search engines today. This includes #1 placements in Google.ca for most of the top 20 highest volume terms in the insurance sector (one of the most competitive categories for SEO).
Matthew believes online marketing should be treated like a science and tries to apply the same principles of investigation that he learned while studying chemistry to his work in internet marketing. Hence, he has spent a lot of the past decade dreaming up online marketing strategies, developing hypotheses and testing them through experiments, recording observations and deriving conclusions from those observations.
Matthew also has notable experience in technical website programming and project management, affiliate marketing, direct offline marketing, email marketing and PHP/MySQL programming.
Matthew holds a degree in Chemistry from the University of Toronto and has a Google Advertising Professional certification.
